Delicate Practice with the Human Body through Perceiving Qi Energy

Working with the body is for us the foundation of understanding our own existence — not only on the physical level but also in the realms of energy and psyche.
The energy in our body, which Taoists call qi (chi), needs to flow freely to support health, balance, and vitality. If its flow slows down or gets blocked, imbalance arises, which can lead to pain, illness, or mental exhaustion.

Qigong is an ancient Taoist method of cultivating energy in the body.
Through movement, breath, and focused attention, it harmonizes the flow of qi, increases its quantity, and activates the body’s natural self-healing abilities. For centuries, it has been part of traditional Chinese medicine, especially as a tool for prevention and longevity. It is an excellent means of creating basic health stability, a strong internal center, and a deeper connection with oneself.

Neigong means “inner work.”
While qigong may include movement sequences, neigong goes even deeper — inward.
It is a subtle but profoundly transformative practice in which energy is cultivated, guided, and consciously directed inside the body.
Neigong is not a specific set of exercises or forms — it is the way we practice qigong.

It includes:

  • Building the lower dan tian (the energy center in the belly area),

  • Rooting the breath and healing breathing techniques,

  • Guiding qi through the meridians and cultivating it according to the five phases (elements),

  • Cleansing the organs, inner visualization, and meditation,

  • Absorbing the mind into the body, slowing down, and calming.

It is the silent art of awareness in the body — unseen from the outside, yet changing us deeply from within.

What do we emphasize?

In our lessons, we integrate qigong and neigong as two natural levels of one path.
Besides movement, we focus on posture precision, working with body structure, and subtle sensations. We add knowledge from both Western anatomy and energetic anatomy (according to Chinese medicine) to make movement not only beautiful but also healing.

We also work with traditional forms (e.g., Wudang Five Animals Set, Eight Pieces of Brocade…), which develop not only the body but also the spirit.
